The Foundation of ELTHAM College is pleased to announce the purchase of a Childcare and Kindergarten business in the city, to complement the operation of Melbourne City School as the first P - 12 school in the CBD.
Settlement occurred this afternoon, with Sunkids, located in the McPherson Building on Collins Street, to become part of the ELTHAM College Kids brand. Complementing the three childcare centres already owned and operated by the ELTHAM College Foundation, a CBD based centre was an obvious choice following the opening of Melbourne City School in February this year.
For more than 35 years ELTHAM has been a leader in educating young people from Kindergarten to Year 12. The school has established a reputation as an educational leader committed to working with young people to realise their dreams and achieve individual excellence. Since 2002 ELTHAM College Kids has offered high quality education and childcare in the north and north eastern suburbs. With a focus on the holistic development of each child, and well known for an innovative education style, ELTHAM is committed to providing excellent care and a dynamic learning experience. Each of the ELTHAM College Kids locations demonstrates the same passion and commitment to the development, nurture and growth of all young people in their care, and they are thrilled to now be able to share these same philosophies with families in the city.
The new ELTHAM College Kids Melbourne City will ensure city based workers and residents have access to a shared philosophy of education and learning from birth right through to Year 12, via the child care centre and then continuing on to schooling at the nearby Melbourne City School.
